Bought as a package along with boning knife & sharpener, this does the job of slicing Iberico ham with great efficiency. Needs to to be kept very sharp, so as not to ruin the lean cuts of ham. Recommended for all Jamon lovers.
After purchasing a Jamon, we suddenly realised that we needed more equipment for slicing the ham. First came the "jamonero" stand, complete with knife, then we read that the knife should always be sharp, and so we bought the sharpener. This is a very clean, effective tool that does the job adequately. It is small, but perfectly formed, and can be folded away for storage after use.
